Android 2025 Version History. Once per year, google comes out with a new android update. Google has confirmed the dates for google i/o 2025, its annual developer conference.
The other is a minor release in q4 which brings new apis and feature updates but does not contain any breaking changes. Android 16’s release date has been moved up to the first half of 2025, and another release will happen near the end of the year.
